Diane Lois Bryant

Lois Diane Roper Bryant 66, of Whittier passed away on Monday July 15, 2019, at Mission Hospital following a short period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was currently residing at Bryson City Senior Living Center. Diane was a loving person, who loved the Lord and is rejoicing with her Heavenly Father. She loved being around the people she loved. She was a member of Old Savannah Baptist Church in Sylva and attended Whittier Church of God when her health would allow. She loved Bryson City Senior Living and had made many wonderful new friends.

Diane is survived by three sisters, Ruby Green and family of Bryson City, June Cook and family of Whittier, Mary Passmore and family of Whittier, a sister-in-law, Jean Plank and family of Sylva, a special cousin and niece Wanda Childers and Jill Jones. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Pastor Shane Silvers and Rev. Austin Frady officiating. The Barker Family will be singing. Burial will follow later in the Franklin Cemetery at Long Branch Baptist Church.
