Herman Lewis Wike

On the morning of June 25, 2020, Herman Lewis Wike went to be with the Lord at the age of 92.

Herman was born to Carter and Dellia Wike in 1928 in Cullowhee, NC. He married Shirley Mae Miles in 1953 and together they raised one daughter, Pam. Herman accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1960 and was called to the ministry in 1965. He continued to serve the Lord as a minister until his retirement. Herman truly loved the Lord, Shirley, and his family. He was a lifelong student of prophecy and enjoyed working in his garden.

Herman is preceded in his death by his father, Carter, his mother Dellia, and his sisters Bernice and Agnes. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, his daughter Pam, his brother Vernal, his son-in-law Steve, his granddaughters Bethany and Brandy, and his grandson-in-law, Shawn. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Wike Family Cemetery in Cullowhee, NC on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Wike Family Cemetery Fund.
