Billy, I am so sorry to hear about Russ, found out 30 minutes after his service or Jeff and I would have been there. Russ and I saw each other a few times when he worked in Murphy. It was always memories and laughs when we talked. He may have not always made the right decisions in his life, but he kept going and made a lot of friends along the way Hope you and your family are well. Take care Marsha Gosnell Mashburn

Billy and Wendy: I have known Russ for over 40 years as he was a student of mine my first year teaching at Sylva-Webster High School. I must say that he helped to properly break me in as a young beginning teacher at the high school! He was a fun guy and a very good man whom I will always remember! As a former teacher, friend, and neighbor my thoughts and prayers will be with you and I am so sorry for your loss and wish you the best in the future! Larry Tucker
