Lois Wiggins Stephens, 78, of Tuckasegee, passed away Monday November 5, 2018. Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Hayes and Ella Mae Pollard Wiggins. Lois loved her flowers and gardening, and enjoyed traveling with her husband. In addition to her parents, Lois was also preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Doyle Stephens, her brother; Donald Wiggins, and her sister; Katherine Connor. She is survived by Son- Daniel Thackston of Simpsonville, SC Daughter- Sharon (Jimmy) Eddleman of Piedmont, SC 2 Stepsons- Eddie and Steve Stephens and their extended families of Jackson County 2 Grandchildren- Kayla Thackston and Eddie Eddleman 2 Great Grandchildren- James and Eli Brothers- Ernest and Eugene Wiggins of Jackson County Sister- Linda of Seneca, SC Brother- Ronnie Wiggins of Jackson County A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday November 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Johnny Norris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 Sunday, prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. A brief graveside service will be held at Addie Cemetery immediately following the Memorial Service for the family. .
