Mary Ellen Bryson

Mary B Bryson, age 85, of Cashiers passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She is the daughter of the late Kay and Etrulia (Zachary) Baumgarner. She was married for 40 years to the late Hoyt Bryson, who passed away in 1992. Mary was a member of Cashiers United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved taking care of her family. Mary is survived by one son, Roger Bryson of Cashiers; one grandchild, Clay Bryson of Cullowhee; two great-grandchildren Devin and Derick Bryson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 am, at Cashiers United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Riatz and Rev. Steve Kerhoulas. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Appalachian Funeral Services is handling the arrangements.
