Mary Louise Culp

Mary L. Culp, age 90 of Cullowhee, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, October 1, 2018. She was the wife of James Culp and the daughter of the late George and Bell McKenzie. 

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylva, NC. She was a retired registered nurse.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers; George McKenzie and Heath McKenzie. 

Mary is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Culp. She was also survived by three sons; James (Gail) Culp Jr., David Culp and his wife Barbara Biss and Michael (Dawn) Culp. Five grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister; Agnes McKenzie Tiller also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Sylva with Rev. Jeff Mathis officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Burial will follow in the Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Waynesville, NC.
