Nadine Sheehan

Nadine Sheehan, 73, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday October 20, 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Ethel Nations. Nadine was a member of New Savannah Baptist Church and was a loving mother, housewife and grandmother. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband Bobby Cabe.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years Charles Sheehan

Son- Doug Cabe (Judy) of Waynesville

Daughter- Gina Barlow of Sylva

Grandson- Casey Barlow

Brother- Charles Nations of Atlanta

Sisters- Glenda Floyd of Sylva and Patsy Webb of Anderson, SC

Several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday October 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wesleyanna United Methodist Church Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Nadine's passing. She and I spent many hours with the Sylva Webster Band and then in my beauty shop with her getting her hair cut. She was a good friend and a dedicated Mother. May God bless you all and know my prayers are for you all.

I was so sorry to learn of Nadine's passing. I remember her from the Cabe reunions. Sympathy goes out to her husband and Doug and Gina and the whole family. You are in my prayers.
