Pearl Jacobs

Pearl M. Jacobs, age 92, of Sylva passed away Friday, June 8th, 2018. She was the wife of the late Roger Jacobs and the daughter of the late Rufus and Stella Mills.

She was a member of Cullowhee Baptist Church. She was employed by Buster Brown and Wendy’s of Sylva until her retirement. She loved going to Thad Woods Auction and dearly loved her family.

Pearl is survived by her daughter; Frances Lowe and two grandsons; Mark (Lola) Gates and Chad Gates. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, June 11th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel. Rev. Stacy Woods and Rev. Matt Ledbetter will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
