Regina Pauline Blanchard-Lanoue

Regina Blanchard-Lanoue, age 59, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 24, 2020 at home. She was the wife of Robert Blanchard-Lanoue and the daughter of the late Leslie Blanchard and Bessie Blanchard. Best mother to a son any father could have asked for including her husky. Caring and loving soul who enjoyed caring for others more than herself. She left behind her husband, Robert, loving Mother Bessie, sisters Dana and Donna, as well as her son Cory and husky Storm along with nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Leslie. Her favorite quote to him was “Do unto others as you would have done unto you.” My mother’s wishes for me came true and I served as her father did in the U.S. Navy. Because of her love and ability to see and show anyone’s potential, I became a better person, husband, and most of all a better son. She is missed and has gone home to heaven. We love you momma!!! A private family graveside service will be held due to the current pandemic. Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva, NC is serving the family.
