Tim Ashe

John Timothy "Tim" Ashe, 60, of Waverly, TN formally of Sylva, NC passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019. He is the son of Clinton James Ashe and Annie Ruth (Farmer) Ashe. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of almost 36 years Kecia Ashe.

Tim was a devoted husband, loving father and a best friend to anyone who was close to him. He showed by the way he lived, to the people around him, what it meant to be a true family man. Tim loved to travel with the rodeo and he was one of the best cowboys around.

In addition to his wife Tim is survived by two sons, Tyler Ashe and Travis (Ashley) Ashe; Ashley’s children Thomas and Timothy; Sadie; his mother Ruth Ashe; Four siblings Earl Ashe, Willie Ashe, Linda (Felix) Barnes and Danny (Melanie) Ashe and nephew Colby Ashe.

He is preceded in death by his father Clinton James Ashe and one brother Alvin Ashe.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Pat Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ashe Cemetery.
