My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, the friends, and the countless number of people that were lucky enough to have known Tony. And although our paths in life took different directions as we grew older, I was with him as we both grew from teenage to adult. All of us... Mark, Jimmy, Steve, Raymond, myself, and Tony, were inseparable at one time. My mind replays all the wonderful times that we all had back then and I now realize how fortunate and blessed we were, to be able to share that experience with wonderful, loyal friends. It seems like it was just yesterday. Tony was unique in so many ways and touched so many people, both personally and through the radio, that it can't be measured. I am sad that Tony is no longer part of this world, but I am proud to have known him and honored to call him my friend. Rest In Peace, Twine.

Tony was beyond a friend to me. Tony was more like a brother. I have so many fond memories of our childhood adventures and fellowship as close friends that will be a part of me for the duration of my life and can never be described in words. My heart felt sympathy pours out to the Childress family that I love as if my own. Your Loving Friend Steve
