Ann Rice

Ann Rice, 88, of Cashiers, went home to be with the Lord Thursday June 29, 2023
A resident of Jackson County for over 70 years, she was the daughter of the late Charles and and Emma McKinney
She was a member of Heady Mountain Baptist Church. There were 3 things Ann enjoyed doing, reading her Bible, taking care of her flowers and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands; Marvin Rice and Neil Lyday, her stepdaughter; Joan J. Fisher, and 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
She is survived by;
Sons; Sam (Martha) Rice of Cashiers
           Dan (Karen) Rice of Cullowhee
3 Stepchildren; Randy (Theresa) Lyday of Whitewater, NC
                            Rachel M. (John) Schneider of Whitewater, NC
                            Darla L McCall of Sapphire
Brother; James (Debbie) McKinney of Lake Toxaway
Sister; Norma Hogsed of Silverstein, NC

Funeral Services will  be held 3:00 PM Wednesday July 5, 2023 at Heady Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Josh Holden officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the Service at the Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Bullpen.
