Anna Marie Olsen

Anna Marie Olsen, 59 of Cullowhee, North Carolina formerly of Grand Haven, MI., passed away peacefully at her home on August 02, 2025.

Anna was born in Grand Haven, MI to Jack and Anielia McCarthy on August 12, 1965. Anna loved to listen to music, work on jigsaw puzzles like her mom, write poetry, and watch the hummingbirds outside her bedroom windows. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids and many phone calls with her family and friends back home.

Anna is preceded in death by her dad Jack Mccarthy and her step-father Wayne Wilson. She leaves behind a son Josh (Cary Zysk) Olsen, a daughter Amanda (Kevin Weaver) Olsen, her grandchildren Sophia, Calvin and Grayson, her mom Annie(Sweetie) Wilson, siblings John, Joe, Jerald, Daniel, Mary, Theresa and Robert.

A Celebration of Life will take place on September 27, 2025 at the Knights of Columbus,1416 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417,  from 1:00pm-5:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations made to Amanda Olsen and her family to help cover travel expenses, as she was her mom's caretaker for the last ten years.
