Artie Estes Frady

July 1, 1930 — September 14, 2022

Artie Estes Frady, 92, of the Savannah community, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. A native of the Sutton Branch area, Artie married her high school sweetheart, James Woodrow Frady in December of 1952. They went on to have three children, all of whom she adored. She dedicated her life to giving her family a good Christian home, all while working tirelessly to do her part in supporting the family business. She was the definition of a godly woman. Her favorite KJV Bible verse was Psalms 23.

Artie was predeceased by her daughter, Loretta “Regina" Woodard, her son, Michael James Frady, and her four sisters Evelin Hall, Lucile Cagle, Georgie Estes, Leola Brooks, and Rhoda Estes. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Woodrow Frady; her daughter, Pamela Bilbro; grand-daughters Monika Woodard and Cheryl Rogers, and great grand-daughter, Eden Rogers.

The Family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2022, From 12:00PM - 2:00PM, at Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva NC. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00PM. Revs. Eddie Stillwell, Austin Frady, and Steve Webb, officiating. Interment will follow at Old Savannah Cemetery.
