Bobby Hicks McConnell

Bobby H. McConnell, 78, of Sylva, passed away Monday September 4, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Fred M. and Ila Mae Hoxit McConnell. Bobby was a member of Webster Baptist Church and had retired from the NCDOT. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother Tom McConnell. He is survived by 2 Sisters- Freddie Jo McConnell of Sylva Nancy Shope of Sylva 2 Brothers- James E. (Olean) McConnell of Sylva Ray (Janice) McConnell of Memphis, TN Several nieces and nephews also survive A Graveside Service will be held 11: 00 am Thursday September 7 at Fairview Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
