Brenton Hooper Wiseman

CULLOWHEE – Brenton Hooper Wiseman, 28, of the Speedwell community, died suddenly Friday, May 19^th at his home.

Brent enjoyed hunting with his Grandpa and fishing. He had a wicked sense of humor and a compassionate heart and will be missed by his many friends and family members.

Brent was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, T. Wayne Hooper, and his paternal grandparents, Carl and Carolyn Dorsey Wiseman.

He is survived by his parents Dana (David) Hooper Breedlove and Michael (Kim) Wiseman, his brother Bowman (Karanda) Thomas Wiseman, his maternal grandmother Sue Smith Hooper, and a child of his heart, Carson Gray Woodard.  He is also survived by a maternal aunt, Christi (Johnny) Hooper and her daughters, who were like Brent’s sisters, Mary Grace Davis and Ellie Freeman, paternal aunts Deborah (Greg) Richter and family, Sherry (David) Moore and family, Tammy (Randy) Bauer and family, and many extended family members. 

The family will receive friends beginning at 5 pm Tuesday, May 23^rd at Appalachian Funeral Home, Sylva. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate gifts to Catman or any animal search or rescue organization of your choice.
