Carrie Mae Frady Rickman

Carrie Mae Frady Rickman, age 84 of Sylva NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2023.   She was born on December 20, 1938, in Haywood County, to the late Otis and Bonnie Claybo Frady.  She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. 

She will be dearly missed by her loving brother, Harold Frady; sister, Margaret Whittington; daughters, Judy Rogers and her children, Katelyn and Kade Rogers, Teresa Rickman and her three children, and Mary Hampton and her children, Jamie and Denise Hampton. 
 
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM – 8:00PM on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the residence.  745 Monteith Branch Road, Sylva NC 28779.

In lieu of flowers, the Family asks donations be made in Carrie’s name to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with cremation expenses.
