Carroll Joe Seay

Carroll Joe Seay, 80, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at his residence.

Carroll was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County and a son of the late Thomas Joseph and Edith Reed Seay.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas E. and Robert P. Seay.  Carroll worked in construction for most of his life and later went into trucking.  Besides loving his family, Carroll loved to ride horses.

He is survived by a son, David Seay (Fonda); brothers, Jimmy Seay (Ginger) and Larry Seay; grandchildren, David, Tanner, and Emma; his companion for many years, Linda Hoxit and her children, Michael Hoxit (Arlecie), Beverly Frady (George) and her grandchildren, Meghann Davis, Coleman Hoxit, and Gabe Frady.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin.
