Cinda Sherrill

Cinda Sherrill, age 63, of Whittier, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Willie Sherrill. 

She served in the United States Air Force for 22 years and was very proud of her service to her country. She dearly loved her family and never met a stranger. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, James "Elmo" Sherrill. 

Cinda is survived by two nieces, Amy Sherrill and Amanda Sherrill; one nephew, Jesse Sherrill, one great niece, Khalessi Jimpson and two great nephews, Tayo James and Axel Cagle along with her beloved dog, Roscoe.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services with Rev. Lewis Crisp officiating. Burial will follow in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
