Clemard Cabe

Clemard Cabe, 78, passed away Friday morning March 15, 2013. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of Bessie Cochran Cabe of Sylva and the late Fred Cabe. Clemard was a US Navy Veteran who loved Nascar Racing, especially Dale Earnhardt. He loved Ginseng digging and attended Promise Land Baptist Church. Besides his father he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul and Ray Cabe. Besides his mother he is survived by His wife of 45 years June Davis Cabe 3 Sons- David and Owen Jamison of Georgia, Phillip Jamison of Sylva 1 Daughter- Delores Jones of Tuckasegee 4 Grandchildren- Valerie Wood of Balsam, Justin Brown of Tuckasegee, Brittany Jamison and Blake Jamison both of Georgia 1 Great Grandchild- Shay Wood Several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday March 17 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs.Larry Bryson and Ray Houston officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wesleyan Methodist Cemetery.
