David Bryson, 67, of Clyde formally of Sylva passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019. He is the son of the late C.A. and Estella Bryson. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Bryson.

David was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church in Sylva and is a current member of Crestview Baptist Church in Canton, NC. He was a 1970 graduate of Sylva Webster High School. David was a gentle man who loved his family and also loved serving the Lord. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters Hannah Bryson Wilkes and family, Rachael Bryson and family and Sarah Bryson and family; Sharon Bryson the mother of his children; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

He is preceded in death by his parents C.A. and Estella (West) Bryson and one brother Charles Bryson. 

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00am in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Dr. Dan Page officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Parris Cemetery.
