Deborah Lynn Bennett

Deborah Lynn Bennett, 71, of Sylva, NC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Debbie Was born in Hamilton Ohio on April 3, 1955, to the late John Joseph Hammerly Jr. and Naomi Louise Ratliff.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years Charles Albert Bennett; her two daughters, Teresa Bennett and Julie Bennett (Rosalio); five grandchildren and one adopted grandchild, sandy, Brittany (Zack), Tiffany, Leonardo, Angelica, Mackenzie; and seven great grandchildren, Carson, Reagan, Josephina, Charly, Elijah, Amari, Silas; Debbie is also survived by two siblings, Joyce Hammerly and Greg Hammerly (Paula). Several Nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

There are no services planned for Debbie at this time.
