Diana Lynn Rodrigues

January 26, 1959 — June 9, 2022

Diana Lynn Murphy was born January 26, 1959 and passed away June 9, 2022. She passed at home, cherished by her loved ones. Diana was the daughter of Johnny Murphy and Renee Useldinger. She is survived by her children: Mickael Murphy, Stephanie Vrain, Ericka Pissens, Maureen Murphy, Christy Chenot, and Corwin Chenot. While she was born in Homestead Florida; she was raised in the capital city Kinshasa, deep in the African Congo. This alone reflected her adventurous spirit.

She was a proud mother to six amazing children, a mami to 6 beautiful grandchildren, and she was also a mama to absolutely any one blessed enough to meet her. Diana was truly a one of a kind woman. One that was completely irreplaceable to those who loved her. Diana was a person who had all the answers and made every problem go away. She had these beautiful stories of her life that just left everyone in awe. She had an open home for absolutely anyone who needed it. Her arms were always wide open, her ears were there to listen, and her wisdom helped make your worries go away. Her voice was truly soothing, especially when she spoke in French. Diana stood by “If there’s a will there’s a way”. It was a lesson she instilled in everyone she met. She was a lady who never backed down from a challenge and who loved to teach those around her. Truly, Diana was a hardcore French lady who loved her wine, cheese, and bread. She made the most amazing meals that could cure any bad day you had. Always being the person who brought everyone together, she threw the most amazing parties and family gatherings. When you were going to Diana’s you just knew it’d be full of fun stories, amazing food, wine, and plenty of laughter. She was our saving grace. There was absolutely nothing this woman wouldn’t do for her loved ones.

While her spirit has departed, we all find some comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended. That she is finally free of the Cancer that cursed her to such a fate. Our hearts ache but our souls sing with hers. Until we join her in the great beyond, we will praise her life on this Earth.
