In addition to her professional career, Laura found happiness working in her flower garden and taking care of her English Cocker Spaniels. She was a member of the Episcopal Church where she volunteered with the flower guild. She also loved making her famous cookies and pies for family, and friends.
Further, Laura enjoyed her time taking family vacations around the country including trips to concerts, National Parks, camping along the coast, and their annual trip to the Indianapolis 500. Having a deep love for her family, Laura worked to make each member successful by offering her advice and support.
