Emma Marie Evitt-Harris

Emma Marie Evitt-Harris, age 27 of Sylva NC, passed away on Sunday March 13, 2022.   She was born on July 6, 1994, in Jackson County, to David Warren Evitt and Elisabeth (Michil) Ashe.

Emma had a heart of gold and was an animal lover (especially cows!).  In lieu of flowers, Emma  would have wanted everyone to donate to: Catman2 Inc, PO Box 2344 Cullowhee, NC 28723.

She will be dearly missed by her loving mother, Elisabeth; father, David; grandmother, Sadie Evitt; siblings, Sabine Evitt, Jackson Reece, Adam Evitt, JR Reece (Amanda), Anthony Reece (Amber).

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Warren Evitt.

A Memorial Service for Emma will be held 3:00PM on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva NC.  Rev. Eddie Stillwell, ofiiciating.
