Harold was born August 3rd, 1946, on East Fork Road to Wilburn Gribble and Geneva Buchanan Gribble Cogdill.  Harold graduated from Sylva-Webster in 1964. Harold was a lifelong and faithful member of East Fork Baptist Church.

Harold spent the last 28 years with the love of his life, Anita Glasgow. Harold and Anita enjoyed days on the front porch, gardening, hunting, and piddling.

Harold is survived by his two sons and grandchildren; Craig (Pam) and their children, Jeana Cooper (Harper), Myka Reppert (Jake & Kallie), Chase, and Keaston; Brian (Corina) and their sons Caydon, Sawyer, and Elijah. Harold is also survived by his nephew Kevin (Ramona) Monteith and their children Jacob, Paige, and Alan.
