Harry L. Moses

Harry L. Moses age 84, of the Little Savannah Community, Sylva passed away on March 19, 2026 at his home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, born July 6, 1941 to the late Bert and Bertie Stewart Moses. He is proceeded in death by siblings Doug Moses, Charles Moses, and Kitty Crowe.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Lewis Moses, his son Jeff Moses (Kathy), and Todd Moses (Kathryn), grandchildren Ryan Moses (Bethany), Patrick Moses (Shelby), Elizabeth Moses, Emily Moses, two great grandchildren, Wilder and Emmitt Moses, siblings Harold Moses, Eddie Moses and Shirley Hurwitz.

Harry retired from Dayco Corporation, later working at Harrah’s Casino.

No services are planned, a memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
