Helen Grey Snyder (Mills) was born on June 11, 1942, in Jackson County. She peacefully passed away at her home on October 24, 2023. Helen will be warmly remembered for her significant contributions to her family and community. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend to many.

Helen was the beloved daughter of Elihue and Lemmer McFalls Mills. While her parents have preceded her in death, Helen's memory will live on through the indelible mark she left on those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Helen focused on nurturing strong relationships with her loved ones. She cherished the role of mother to her children - William Lee Bennett, Phillip Bennett, Connie Britton, Brenda Henkel, and Vicki Heffner. Her dedication to their well-being knew no bounds, and she took great pride in the exceptional individuals they became.  Helen is also survived by her loving sister, Diann Shook.

Helen's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family. Her warm personality drew people close to her, establishing lifelong friendships that she treasured. Friends remember Helen as a compassionate listener who provided unwavering support whenever it was needed. Her wisdom and gentle guidance brought solace to those facing difficult times.
