Irmgard Smith

Irmgard Brooks Smith, age 87, of Sylva passed with loving care at Skyland Nursing Home on March 27, 2012. She is the daughter of the late Charlie and the late Lula (Cabe) Brooks and was preceded in death by brothers Ike, Claude, John, and Charlie C. Brooks and Sisters Jessie Gibson, Bea Brooks, and Hazel Middleton. She is survived by one son, Gregory Smith; one sister Viola Crawford; two grandchildren and nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday March 30, at Appalachian Funeral Services. A memorial services will be held at a later date.
