Ivey Daves

Ivey Daves,89, of Sylva, NC passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Painter. She was preceded in death by her husband Troy Daves who passed away on October 7, 2011. Ivey worked as a nurse and worked at the hospital and in the offices of Dr. McCord and Dr. Smallwood. She is survived by her son-in-law Charlie Proctor; grandchildren Russel Proctor and Amiee Proctor; great grandchildren Anna and Taylor Proctor and a special niece Wanda Henson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Proctor and nine brothers and sister. A visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services. Following the visitation the family will have a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
