Jacob Wyatt Bauknecht, 26, of Cullowhee, went home to be with The Lord Wednesday morning Match 8, 2023
A Native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Jacob was always smiling.  Whether he was traveling or going somewhere with his family, they would go everywhere together, or if he was just spending time alone with his family, whom he loved dearly, especially his brothers, he would be smiling. One of Jacob's favorite places to go was Lake Chatuge, he loved being on the water. 
He is survived by his immediate family;
His mother and father; Sherry and Fred
His brothers; Jesse and Luke
 A Celebration of Jacobs life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Sylva Saturday March 25, 2023 from 2:00 till 3:00 pm with family visitation to follow.
