Jane Morrison

Jane Morrison 83 of Sylva passed away on Saturday April 6, 2024. Jane was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 10, 1941 to the late James Ritchie and Rose Hopkins. She attended the Royal Conservatory St. Theresa Catholic School in Glasgow. She was a homemaker and seamstress.

Jane is survived by her husband, Jan, and her three children; Theresa Ann, Jahn Timothy, and Michelle Ann. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; Adam, Micheal, Alex, Katelyn, Steven, Naseem, and Laith.

A celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024, beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services at 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC 28779. Please dress casually as she would want everyone to be comfortable.

Please do not send flowers as Jane would prefer that instead a donation be made to a favorite charity. The charities Jane preferred are diabetes, cancer, kidneys, or a charity of your choice.
