Joyce Ann Green

Joyce Ann Green was born on December 31, 1935, in Jackson County. She passed away peacefully at Frye Regional Memorial Hospital in Hickory on Friday, February 25, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mattie Belle Green; brothers, R.C. Green, Otis Green, Claude Green; sister, Kate Lineberger.

Joyce is survived by her nieces, Meredith Brooks and family, Connie Stevenson and family, Kathy Pittman and family, Donna Green and family, Linda dyer and family. She is survived by many great-nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many cousins.

Joyce was a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church. She loved her church very much. She loved to cook for her family and friends. Joyce had many friends and family members who loved her very much and she loved them. She was kind hearted and loved to laugh.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Greens Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Leroy Mobley and Rev. Tom Lavin will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service at the church.
