Judith Paula Kuehn

Judith Paula Kuehn passed away on September 17, 2026 at her home in Cullowhee North Carolina. She was preceded in death by parents Fred and Ruth Kuehn, sister Gail Frankic, and brothers in law Bud Frankic, and Glen Volkman.

She is survived by her sister Ruth Volkman, niece Wendy Volkman (Ben Klaas), nephews Fred Volkman, Davd Scott James(Saundra MeltonJames) great nieces and nephews Gharette Scott MeltonJames, Keverynne Bradshaw (John), Anna Volkman, Peter Volkman, and Clare Volkman, her longtime family, friends Sharon and Deborah Sullivan and Maxwell Smudge, the family cocker spaniel

Judy worked as a teacher and school counselor and led Head Start programs. Her work later expanded to displaced workers and families struggling with addiction. In her spare time, she enjoyed her golden retrievers, coin collecting, and photography.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
