Kenneth Edward Cope

Kenneth “Kenny” Edward Cope, 67, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 5th, 2026.

Kenny leaves behind the love of his life, Brenda Ammons Cope. Along with Many other extended family, friends, and his New Hope Baptist Church family that loved Kenny dearly.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8th, 2026, at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held for Kenny at New Hope Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, starting at 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow the service in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Earnie Jamison, Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Bary Bowman will be officiating.
