Larry Lee Fisher, age 73 of Sylva, NC. passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020. He was born on November 21, 1946, in Jackson County to the late Grover Lee and Avainell Horsley Fisher.
He retired from Jackson Paper Mill after many years as a Boiler Operator. Larry enjoyed farming and gospel/bluegrass music.
Larry will be dearly missed by his loving children, David (Aileen), Scott, Becky (Chris) Sellers; siblings, Richard, Dwight (Darlene); sister-in-law, Linda; grandchildren, Courtney, Trenton, Shealyn; and great-grandchild, Lane.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 49 years, Ella Mae Monteith; and brother, J.C.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00pm, Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00pm. Revs. JD Grant and Earl Holden, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lauada Cemetery, Bryson City, NC.
