Larson Marion Alexander

Larson Alexander, age 84, of Tuckasegee, NC, went home to be with the Lord at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2020 surrounded by his loving family after several years of declining health. He was the husband of Thelma Alexander and the son of the late Luther and Laura Jane Alexander. He attended Sol’s Creek Baptist Church. Larson was retired from the logging industry and from growing Christmas trees. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Larson is survived by his wife of 60 years; Thelma Alexander, one daughter; Tammy Alexander Hedden and his dog; Tiny, who served as his favorite caregiver. No services are planned at this time. Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva, NC is serving the family.
