Laura Lynn Washington

Laura Lynn Washington (Connors), age 70 of Bryson City NC, passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2022.   She was born on April 13, 1952, in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Robert Connors and Dorothy (Mercier) Connors. 

Laura was known as an avid fly fisher and an awesome cook. 

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, William “Scottie” Andrew Washington, Jr.; son, James Theodore Angell (Jessica); sister, Janet Cairo (Jim); grandchildren, Jamie Vaughan, Jennifer Angell; and uncle, Richard Mercier.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A Memorial Service will be held at a date to be determined. Rev. David Watkins, officiating.
