Leonard Asbury Wood, age 74, of Sylva passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at his home. Mr. Wood is the son of the late Booth and Otelia Fox Wood. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cora Lee Burrell Wood, a son, Anthony, and daughter Kim Adams and husband Kevin. Also surviving are 2 grandsons, Tye and Ryder and one great grandson, Chase.
