Lester Lee Franks, age 84, of Sylva passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. Lester was born October 13, 1934 in Sylva, NC. He is the son of the late Robert Lee and the late Louetta (Mashburn) Franks.
He is survived by one Brother Raymond (Joanne) Franks; one niece Larue Franks; one sister in law Barbara Franks; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, March 25 at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Stillwell, Rev. Steve Webb and Rev. Keith Ashe officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Zion Hill Cemetery.
Appalachian Funeral Services is handling arrangements for the family.
