Lillie Marie Cabe

Lillie Marie Cabe, 95, of the Greens Creek Community went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Gracie Green.

She loved her family and enjoyed being around friends and family. Before her health declined, she loved working in her garden, flower garden, canning and cooking. She worked for several years at the Sylco Sewing plant in Sylva.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kimsey Cabe, brothers Ellis, Candler and Weaver Green.

She is survived by one son Larry Dale Cabe and wife Donna, one granddaughter Cassie Cabe, one brother Cecil Green. Also surviving are nephews Mike Green, Mark (Nichole) Green and Stacy Green. Several great nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services for Lillie will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Appalachian Funeral services in Sylva. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm with a chapel service starting at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Greens Creek Cemetery.
