Madelyn Franks Robinson

Madelyn Franks Robinson, 69 of Sylva, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1955, in Jackson County to the late Clinton and Evelyn Young Franks. Madelyn enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, reading, and spending time with family.

Madelyn is survived by her husband, Samuel Robinson; sons, Clint Steven Cosgrove, Nicky Cornette, Chris Rackley; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Ernest Franks (Charlotte), Lana Franks, Radford Franks, Debbie Gaddis, Rebekah Franks, John Franks, Angela Franks. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Madelyn is preceded in death by her siblings, Steven Franks, Sandra Franks, Clayton Franks.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Eddie Stillwell will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service at the church.
