Mamaw Clara Bryson

Clara "Mamaw" Bryson, 72, of Cullowhee, went home to be with the Lord, Monday June 10, 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Annie Sims. Clara was a member of The Summit Church and she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her beloved Heidi. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by husband Robert, her son Darron Bryson, her brother Johnny Sims and her sister Ruthalene McClung.

She is survived by; Her son- Dade Sims (Shandra) of Cullowhee

2 Grandchildren- Tiffany Sims and Wyatt Sims (Katelyn) both of Cullowhee

Great Granddaughter- Clara "CC" Sims

Brother- Terry Sims (Rosemary) of Hendersonville

2 Sisters- Helen Clark of Cullowhee and Edith Kresse of St. Joseph, Missouri 

Niece- Angela Sims Pitts (Scott) of Sylva

Great Nieces- Annie and Ella

Clara is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and some very dear and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday June 14, 2019 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Summit Church, c/o Sheila Gibson, 486 Fairview Rd, Sylva, NC 28779 or to the charity of your choice. . .
