Mamie "Nanny" Ledford

Mamie "Nanny' Ledford, 79, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday October 28, 2014 at her residence. A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Doc and Allie Dills Dean. She loved her flower garden, going to the beach and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ledford and by her brother Benji Dean. She is survived by: 2 Daughters- Cindy Justice of Sylva and Donna Jones (Mark Stedman) of Sylva 1 Son- Robert Ledford of Sylva 4 Grandchildren- Rebecca Justice, Isaac Jones, Kellie Ledford Walsh and Cassie Ledford 2 Great Grandchildren- Meena Jones and Dree Walsh 1 Sister- Cora Beasley of Sylva Several nieces and nephews also survive A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday October 31 at Long Branch Cemetery with the Rev.
