August 20, 1940 - February 27,2024

Peggy was born to Harold Mitchell and Edith  Irwin Mitchell in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated from Yorktown High School in 1958 and attended Beauty School and was a hairdresser and later attended Ball State University and earned her teaching accreditation and she worked at Yorktown Elementary School as a special education teacher assistant. In 1960 she married Paul Eugene Ramsey, and they had 3 children Paul Douglas (Doug) in 1961, Tamara (Tammi) Jo Ramsey in 1962 and Phillip Dean Ramsey in 1966. Paul Ramsey passed in 1980. 

Peg fell in love and Married Richard James Feldpausch April 24, 1982. They shared over 42 wonderful years together. They built their dream home in Cullowhee, NC. They enjoyed traveling and seeing friends and family along the way. They spent their early years living in Ballwin, MO, then Stuart, Florida before retiring in North Carolina.

Peg is survived by her husband Richard, Daughter Tammi (wife Rhonda Ebersole), San Antonio, TX. Peg has 4 Grandchildren Alexa Dawn Ramsey Weiss (husband Daniel, children Lux and Onyx), Shadyside, OH, Stephen Michael Ramsey (wife Cindy Torres Ramsey, children Nathan and baby boy Ramsey due in April 2024, Stuart, FL, Ethan David Ramsey, Cullowhee, NC, Corey Ryan Ebersole (wife Michiko Hermiller Ebersole), Austin, TX. And her favorite niece Kelli Lynn Mitchell (Dr. Kevin Cleveland) Memphis, TN.

Peg leaves behind many dear friends she considered family from her 83 plus years on this earth. She was an avid gardener and loved to grow orchids and any plants she could nurture. She loved big and smiled often and would always lend a hand. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, both sons, her brother Jimmie Harold Mitchell and many aunts and uncles.
