Mitzie Gay Bowers
Mitzie is survived by her loving son Alec Bowers; sister Polly Meek (Thomas); brothers Paul Bowers (Michelle) and James Bowers. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Reva Kinsland Bowers, sister Faye Palmer, and brother David Bowers.
Mitzie worked as a Manager at Harrah's Cherokee Casino for 25 years and loved every moment of it. She had a passion for flowers and nature.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM – 6:00PM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva NC. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00PM. Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
