Nancy Carter Owen

Nancy Carter Owen passed on to be with the lord in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 16th, 2023 after losing a hard fought battle with serious health issues. 
Nancy, a lifelong resident of Jackson County, was a devoted mother, sister, and daughter, who loved to sew, collect, and housekeep. 
Nancy is survived by her Son Anthony, her sister Betty, her two brothers Johnny and Mark, and her Mother Carolyn. A graveside service will be held at Parris Cemetery in Sylva on Wednesday, September 20th at 1pm EST and will be coordinated by Appalachian Funeral Home
