Nancy Nations Rhodes

Nancy Nations Rhodes of Nations Creek Road Whittier, NC went home to be with her Lord after a period of declining health.

Nancy was born to Seab and Gertrude Nations on October 13, 1952.

She was preceded in death by her father Seab Nations, her mother Gertrude Davis Nations and her brother Kenny Nations.

She is survived by her siblings Judy Wilkey (Dennis) of Sylva; Jimmy Nations (Annette) of Whittier and Linda Byerley of Lexington, NC.

She was employed with Contel Telephone Company for 25 years and then retired from Harrah’s Cherokee after 10 years.

She enjoyed and loved her family including many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Wilmont Baptist Church where she loved listening to Gospel music sung by her church family.

A memorial service will be held for Nancy at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Wilmont Baptist Church of Whittier.
