Norma Louise Chastain

Norma Chastain, age 79, of Tuckasegee, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Kenneth Chastain and the daughter of the late Norman and Ethel Heffner. 

Normas was a member of Cherokee Bible Church. She retired after 40 years at Ken's Grocery. She loved to cook and working in her flowers. Norma dearly loved her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son-in-law; Eddie Ensley.

Norma is survived by her husband of 57 years; Kenneth Chastain, one daughter; Ella Ensley, one son; Robert (Valerie) Chastain, one granddaughter; Courtney (Lauren Cress) Ensley, and one great-grandson, Keanu Jonas Ammons. She is also survived by one brother; Kenneth Heffner, two sisters; Margaret (Clyde) Steele and Betty (Ralph) Middleton and several nieces and nephews. 

Per Norma's wishes, no services are planned at this time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Norma's memory to Cherokee Bible Church, PO Box 6, Cherokee, NC 28719.
