Pamela Frady Bilbro

Pamela Lynn Bilbro, loving wife, stepmother, and dedicated Christian, lost her final battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Friday, June 14th, 2024 in Sylva, NC. She was born on Saturday, February 2nd, 1963 in Jackson County, NC.

Pamela is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles Rick Bilbro, father Woodrow Frady, step-children Timothy R. Bilbro (Beth) and Laura C. Berry (Todd), and step-grandchildren Benjamin (Roxy), Jake, and Grace. She was preceded in death by her mother Artie Estes Frady, sister Regina Woodard (Darryl - d), and brother Michael Frady.

Pamela was a Certified Professional Secretary and previously worked at the Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh, mainly in Distributive Education or D.E.C.A, which was her passion. She also worked as a Secretary in the School of Business at Western Carolina University. She was a dedicated member and piano player at Old Savannah Baptist Church. While living in Raleigh, she attended Crabtree Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC on Friday, June 21st, 2024 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00PM. Revs. Eddie Stillwell and Austin Frady, officiating. The graveside service will take place at Old Savannah Cemetery in Sylva, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Savannah Baptist Church or Zion Hill Baptist Church. 

Pamela will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
